London:
Metropolis of the Future is a 1994 short film by
British independent filmmaker Wayne Gerard Trotman.
Aspects of travel, entertainment, religion and
commerce are visually explored in the film, which without dialogue
or narrative structure, produces a dream-like and futuristic view of
London.
London: Metropolis of the Future premiered at the
1995 British Short Film Festival where it was very well received.
The
short film is included as a special feature on the Ashes to Ashes
(1999) DVD.
