Ashes to Ashes was independently produced by the dynamic husband and wife team of Wayne and
Sherrie Trotman, the driving force behind Red Moon Productions Limited.
It is the culmination of several years dedicated work from its conception in 1993 to its completion in 1999. The film features a cosmopolitan cast and crew and is reflective of the multicultural aspects
of London, the vibrant city in which the fictional events of the film are staged.
The grueling two-week shoot in May 1998, testifies
to the sheer energy and fanatical dedication employed in making the
film. This energy is apparent in the performance of the ensemble
cast, and in the expertly staged and executed fight sequences
featuring the skills of several martial arts experts.
